研究方向：

一直從事糖物質科學（glycoscience）：圍繞碳水化合物（carbohydrates），進行介于化學、生物學、藥學和材料學的跨學科交叉研究。

1. 化學糖生物學（chemical glycobiology）：合成糖化學、糖類藥物的研究與開發(fā)。

2. 制糖工程（sugar engineering）：運用全自動糖類合成儀進行寡、多糖的制備研究。

3. 糖生物技術（glycobiotechnology）：研究糖芯片的制備與應用。

4. 糖納米技術（glyconanotechnology）：運用納米技術主要研究糖與糖之間的相互作用。
